South’s bowling team manned a concession stand on Dec. 6 at the home basketball game where the Jingle All the Way Fundraiser was being held. Alec Patterson, 11, took part in this and helped work the concession.

“My favorite part was helping out because we were raising money for the team,” Patterson said.

There were six families who came out to help with the concessions. Kylee Sorells, 11, thinks they raised around $150.

“We did not really have a goal. We were trying to earn enough to buy new shirts. Our goal was pretty much anything over $100,” Sorells said.

The bowling team does not get to keep all the money from sales, but will receive 10-30% of the profits.
